The perfect setting for you to relax as you make hollow threats upon the world.  It's The Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea.  Started about thirty years ago, the darn thing still isn't finished.  That's communism for you.  No money or motivation to get it done.

However, it is a beautiful building and a cool concept, and since I like to recreate unique buildings in CAD, this was a winner.

The dimensions are accurately scaled to the real thing, so if you happen to have a 3D printer 350 meters tall, and a spool of filament a few thousand kilometers in length, you can print a full scale model.  And you'll probably finish sooner than Kim Jong's crew.

In my case, I only printed as high as my printer would allow, minus a centimeter or two.  I think this one is 16.5 cm tall, but I'd have to go back and measure to be sure.

This model is based on the progress they had made as of 2005 (even though I made the model in 2016).  I liked the look of it before they installed the windows.

Background:  It was started in 1987 and is still unfinished as of this posting.  Coincidentally, they just wasted more money firing a missile over Japan today.  So I leave on this note:  North Korea:  Cool architecture, terrible leadership.

If I disappear after posting this project, you'll know who was behind my disappearance.
