This was created to be a Halloween prop that could be broken down and packed into a backpack.
Buy two 3/16" wooden dowels for $0.34 each at Home Depot, or I got mine for 27 cents at Wal Mart.
Cut 12 dowels to 65mm and insert them into each blade section. Add finishing touches by wrapping the handle with leather, painting the blade, etc. Check out phatzero's version for a four-piece sheath that can also be printed for this model.
Notes:
Each piece was printed vertically. They could be stronger if printed horizontally, but the look of the final product is nicer without having to use supports. To improve bed adhesion I used rafts for most of the blade pieces (not for "handle_1" and "blade_1").
