Structure Synth
Initially, I created the base file using a program called Structure Synth which I learned about from Angus from Maker's Muse. The code essentially created 100 cubes which were translated and rotated X, Y, Z amount per iteration and then rotated along an origin 100 times at a certain degree each time. I exported the result as a .obj file and loaded it up into Mesh Mixer.
Mesh Mixer
Initially, I thought to upload the file directly to Netfabb in order to fix all of the non-manifold objects, but I kept on getting error 103. I decided to load it up instead into Mesh Mixer where I made the object solid using precision instead of fast and then added a torus around the edges to make it more structurally stable. I then combined the torus and main body together and exported as an .stl.
Netfabb Online Services
Finally, to make sure there were no errors remaining, I uploaded to Netfabb and this time, the model was successfully processed and fixed. What I have here is the result.
