Due to requests and me having some time, here's a "Mildly Infuriated Porg".
Like the other one, is based in several sketches from Star Wars.
This Porg has the characteristic of when seen from below, it looks calm and happy. But from above it looks like the devil. So don't be eluded by that cute happy face, the real Porg is seen from above.
Also, you know what happens when they have the higher ground?!
No virtual animals were harmed during the creation of this little piece of love, since I didn't want to mess with the devil.
Printer:
Creality CR-10
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0,2 mm
Infill:
10%
Notes:
I printed at 60 mm/s, at 210º and 60º for the bed.
There is no need/gain from printing with higher details than 0,2mm, it's going to look exactly the same.
It's printed at 10% infill, but the first 37 layers are solid. The feet should be solid till the ankle, the number of layers depend on the print size.
The model is in the horizontal position, but it should be placed vertical when printing.
The supports are just needed below the Porg and the wings, there is no need for supports in the mouth.
In Simplify3D I chose 4 mm for "Support Pilar Resolution" and 14% for "Support Infill Percentage". But I printed with supports at 2 and 4 mm and it works fine too. The last photo shows the supports in Simplify3D.
