Made this phone holder that uses the same style mounts as Eckerput's holder.
It is made of two parts and needs a pair of 1/8" rods to act as rails. Tension is applied by a rubber band.
I currently have it fitting both an iPhone 6 and a 6 Plus in cases.
The Golfmount snaps in place on the space between the vents in a 2015 VW Golf. I normally remove the phone holder when not in use and the mount stays in place and blends in well.
The Ranger mount fits in to the side of the air vent. It is a bit wobbly with the 6 Plus but does the job just fine.
