There are quite a few ED-209s on the Internet for free but all of them have issues - either with accuracy or details or were just abandoned by their original publishers. I took the one on MyMiniFactory which I consider one of the best out there and fixed the visor so it is one piece with the upper head. The original model has an issue where the visor simply will not fit the printed head - irritating especially after a long 9 hr print job. There were many requests to fix it over the years - no answer - abandoned.
I fixed the visor merged to the head so it is one piece. I also fixed the gashes in the mesh (not sure why they were there) and also uploaded a lower poly count one. You can't see the difference but your slicer will. The fixed head without reducing poly count is 17MB, reduced poly is only about 5MB.
Print - Enjoy - Add and upate this model at your will. Do not sell it or try to make money off of it otherwise the original publisher will issue a DCMA takedown.
DO NOT PRINT THE LOW POLY COMPLETE ED-209. THIS IS ONLY FOR REFERENCE FOR ASSEMBLY.
UPDATE:
Added updated Head Top and Low Poly - fixed a super minor .2mm gap.
Added split leg for easy printing

Yes
Resolution:
.1mm
Infill:
10% or less
Notes:
You can further split the legs, which I might do to minimize support scarring. You will need support for the back of the legs because they are long. I may provide a simplified leg without the rail vents (which look nice) but are a major PITA for FDM.
For SLS/DLP - go at it, this is a really awesome model!
