A local herbalist found wild Reishi mushrooms in our area, I bought one at the local herb store. The structure of mushrooms has always fascinated me, I took this and using photogrammetry, made a 3D scan replica of it, for use in 3d printing, or otherwise.
ReishiV5.stl is the ideal one for 3D printing, it's already oriented the best way (I believe) for 3d printing, you might want to move it down the Z axis a little bit so that it cuts off the base a little bit, creating a flat surface.
reishi.obj, reishi.mtl and .zip file containing the reishitexture.jpg work together to give a fully colored model, based off the orginal photos. Photogrammetry does a hell of a good job figuring that out, the texture looks incredible, and might be useful for some project.
Some things to note, when I scanned it, I had it held up by a thick copper wire holder, and that transfered to the model it created. I altered and removed it in the .stl, but the obj, still has a little circle shape of copper wire holding the base of the mushroom up. Just be aware.
