Real story:
I like this character, and I like Cryptos (especially Vertcoin), so I decided to create a thing mixing both these worlds.
That was the first time I really used Virtual Reality to model finish something, and I have to say that the tools (ShapeLab for ex.) have made so much progress since last time I used it last year. It's stable, really precise, fun and sooooo much easier to use than mesh mixer for modeling everything. I really enjoyed this.
Before that, I used Mesh Mixer to re-arrange the shoulders (because I wasn't fan of the way they were shaped in the original model), putted hands out of the pocket and putted a coin in Nick's hand.
Had a hard time to print it, because I didn't want to put much support.. after one hour printing and failing miserably, I decided to continue with some supports, ant it went okay.
Then, I used airbrush to paint the big parts, easy, but I tend to rush a lot and not wait for a color to dry completely before beginning the next one (I hate waiting for these kind of things). So I had to begin again and again some color because wet paint don't really like the stickiness of the blue tape..
And then finished with my Vellejo set to paint the details. And this is it !
I included a version with VertCoin, and an other with neutral coin for the case you want to print your favorite coin instead of VTC (and because there is a lot of awesome other coins in the nature !).
Hope you enjoy,
I wish you a good day !
