Notes:
body parts-(about an hour each)
40mm/s print speed, bridges set to 25mm/s (slic3r bridge flow ratio setting to .95)
.04 nozzle .02 layer height, no bottom layer, 3 top layers, 2 side shells, 8% infill
The models come in non-manifold but fine printed anyway. No supports. Use lots of fan for bridges, suggest a heated bed if you have warping issues. Mine warped liked crazy, I fixed afterward. (I find it easier to glue the shells together if there is no bottom layer between them).
legs and palps-(about an hour for a pair of legs)
same settings as above, but use 1 bottom layer and supports. Regular leg version has a small 1/8" dia. cup at the tip for a tiny magnet. I could not wait to get these online, so I made a leg version with a sliced-flat tip to glue a larger (available) magnet. The palps come in non-manifold but printed fine anyway.
Fangs-(about 10 minutes)
slower settings with single bottom layer and no supports. The models come in non-manifold but printed anyway.
Glue 6.3mm magnets to the leg tips, and 9.5mm magnets into the body before gluing body together.
Trim from hair supports.
Glue body shells together.
Trim hair as required.
Paint if desired.
(I am experimenting with adding a drop of silicone to the joints and letting it dry to produce a stiffer joint so she holds her weight on her legs).
Snap together and enjoy!
