I don't recall if the name 'Pegasus Class' was from Star Trek Armada or what, but basically the long and short of it is that the Enterprise was designed, originally, what we'd consider upside down, but the model wouldn't balance that way, so they hung the model the way we're familiar with to show the network and set the design. That being the case, this is a model using all the original Enterprise bits, setting them 'upside down' but keeping them oriented rightside up.
