This is a backplate for Captain America's shield harness. It's based off of an image I found online and traced in Fusion 360. You may wish to scale it depending on the width of your harness straps. Mine are 5.5 cm on the top and 5 cm on the bottom.
The hook is large enough that I can hook one of the hand loops on a cheap merchandise shield consistently without issue.
If you have Autodesk Fusion 360 you can access an editable version of the model with this links: https://a360.co/2I55KXo

Notes:
It's a simple print.
It looked great with Metallic Spray Paint
I gave it a coat of hammered steel spray paint.
I traced an image from a professional prop shop
I imported an image I found in Google images and traced the outline in Fusion 360. I extruded that, then traced the accents and extruded that too. I added some fillets and then added the hook. I worried that it might be too short, and that the shield my fall if I were to jostle it, but it worked great.
The image I used I assumed to be of a metal film prop, but when I went back to cite it for this post, I discovered that they're actually resin cast replicas for sale by the creator, TheBronzeArmory. You can check out this and other awesome replica gear they sell on Etsy.
