Resized approx. x1.3 to make a little more show worthy, fixed cage for s3d slicing, designed a base to suite a $6 usb touch lamp from KMART with a 105mm round base http://www.kmart.com.au/product/led-touch-lamp-white/1937307 (remove the head and wire in some clear white LEDs)…
Or some copper string lights http://www.kmart.com.au/product/3m-twinkle-lights/765061
poke in 2 lights in each hole and 1 light every 2nd gap around the glow ring and bunch the rest inside the glow cap...
Will probly modify the design to suite particular lights in the future...
Print in your choice of colours or paint and light it up!!!
0.5 nozzle
0.2 layers at 120mm/s (would do it again with 0.1 and a little slower for better detail)
5 top and bottom layers
2 walls
15% rectilinear infill for most (10% grid infill for glowing parts, 20% if you have nice transparent filament)
