Hi Guys
This is a remix of aaskedall's nice U wing model. I have removed the fixed wings and canopy and made my own. The canopy can now be printed in clear PLA and the wings can swing back. I can't remember if you see them swept back in the movie or not but they are in the concept art.
Not totally screen accurate but a nice model that's pretty easy to print.
Just a note about the wings. If you print in PLA they will have a tendancy to bow over time. I warmed mine to about 80 degrees in an oven then left them under a pile of books to cool. I think it releases the stresses that can happen when the item is printed.
Have fun and go and see 'Solo' if you haven't already. Don't listen to the doomsayers.....
