Behold! The Type II Gunship!
Okay not exactly a gunship, but to the best that my inexperienced mind could create. This was actually one of my first models created in Sketchup that was designed specifically for 3D printing. A year after constructing and printing this I found the original CAD file in an old hard drive. I have updated the model to correct any errors that I know now to exist, based on the year-plus of experience I've gained since creating this. To add back to the model, I have incorporated all of my tricks and design philosophies into the file retroactively, and have now made it available for the public.
Inspired by the Avengers Quinjet and the UH-60 Black Hawk, this gunship is a fun desk model or a present for the young aspiring engineer. Attach the rocket pods to the fuselage mounts and chase your neighbors down the street! I will add additional "weaponry" as time goes on. Any questions or concerns let me know!
