My wife is an educator for our local school system. She came across this puzzle at a seminar she attended and asked me to make one. So I did. Enjoy.
This puzzle devise is used to help with problem solving stratagies and/or spacial recognition and to increase creative thinking in children.
Rules for the Tower of Hanoi
1) The goal of the puzzle is to move all the disks from the left most peg to the right most peg.
2) Move only one disk at a time.
3) Larger disk may not be placed on top of a smaller disk.
Challenge:
Determine the minimum number of moves for one disk, two disk, etc. Is there a pattern?
