This is a 28mm model of the WW2 Otter Light Reconnaissance Car, which was a Canadian designed and manufactured vehicle used by Canadian & British forces in Italy and N. W. Europe. It also saw use post-war in the Israeli Wars of Independence and in the Dutch East Indies. Here is a brief history of it:

I started, as a so often do, with the great work of M_Bergman. I upscaled tghe car to 1/56th from 1/200th; I sliced the hull in two to allow a flat print. I did mark the lower hull "front" on the print. I did not use recesses so when assembling the upper and lower hull please do so carefully. I was trying to minimize complexity of the hull, so I hope you have no problem with that. I added the two spare wheels on the upper hull for detail; from photos it appears there were often carried there. I created the separate bren gun for the turret (it "notches" in nicely, as well as the Boys ATR for the left hull; it fits in a recess there nicely). I added the shovel secured to the back deck as well.
In the photo of my model I used some bits from a JTFM model - the tarp and knapsack; I likely should of added more; and Tiger Ace has a get set of files for such item on his site.
