This is an original file, created for use in 28mm wargaming. The Red Army engaged in many amphibious operations both on the Black Sea and in the Baltic. While none were of the scale of Overlord or Husky, they were significant and displayed some incredible courage and determination by the Russians.

While Warlord game offers the Bronekater an an option, I wanted an actual landing craft. The DB class was used both as a assault landing craft and a gun platform for the 37mm AA gun, for Katyusha 8-24 rocket launchers and even a floating battery. I am in the debt of the designer of the "Engines of the Red Army" site, which I used to create this model.

In many of the photos the DB just has the front steering position, but later models have a rearward protected position. this is the model I designed. The tarped off area ahead of that  location is the engine.

I created the DSHK AAMG position the rear of the boat. This can be removed at will; it fits well and can be used or not; no need to glue it. I used an old guitar string to use between the posts of the AAMG deck. I am not musical but use them in the hot wire cutter, and it worked fine. The posts slide into the recesses on the AA deck; You can make them whatever height you wish; I went fairly proud for the height.

Please note the print settings; a .15mm is fine for the hull itself, but please use fine/.1mm for the HMG and rear AAMG deck pieces.

I used a brim and supports.
