I needed a Rose for a project and couldnt find one that fitted my needs, so this one I designed purely on Solidworks, Organic isn't really my (or Solidworks) thing but this suits what I wanted to achieve.
Printer Brand:
Prusa
Printer:
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
0.2 - 0.25
Infill:
100 or 0
Notes:
The petals are 0.4mm thick so you will have best results using a 0.4mm nozzle a width of 0.38 seems to give the best ratio.
I have included an S3d factory file with settings for the Prusa i3 Mk 3.
The images are of two roses, one printed on a Tevo Tornado the other on an I3 Mk 3 Both ain PLA at 230 Deg C (I find better layer adhesion at his temperature with thin walls).
cooling is optional but definately not on the bottom as it needs to stick well.
I recommend (always) Kores glue stick even on a PEI coated bed.
