This is my interpretation of Godzilla, loosely based on the 1975 30cm Toho godzilla toy.
This is my second serious go at modeling something in Sculptris and I think it turned out ok. I'm probably going to keep working on it a bit and add some sort of texture on the skin.
My first print didn't turn out too good for some reason. It looked great up to about the armpits but then I ran in to some sort of problems with uneven layers. Might be sloppy bed-leveling on my part or maybe I bumped the table the printer is standing on, I don't know.
I might split the model up into pieces to make it easier to print and possibly make the arms articulated in the shoulder to make it a little less stiff looking.
Printer:
Creality CR-10 mini
Rafts:
Yes
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.2
Infill:
15%
Notes:
You really do need supports for this one, but you'll probably get away with less infill.
Printing this took about 6 hours with a print speed of 45mm/s and 0.2 resolution.
This was made in Sculptris and finished in Meshmixer.
