The flower was put on the plate just as shown in the photos. There is very little of the flower and leaf that touches the plate so you need support. I have done a number of these in different sizes and found that a either a raft or a brim will work on my printer which has a heated glass plate.
The Cura 3.4 settings were Resolution: 0.2mm, Infill 12% Support 'Touching Build' and a Support Angle of 70 degrees.

I first tried using a 3D scanner with flowers from my garden but it turns out the Calla Lily is very complex. Then I hired Agastin Brando via Upwork.Com and he took my photos, redid them in Zbrush and sent me an .STL file which I modified in MexhMixer and MudBox.
