Warhammer-inspired sculpting continues!
This time - Bloodletter type thing. Looked nice with a spear so that's why. Haven't printed it yet, but sliced with Simplify 3.1.1 - checked out OK.
Looks nasty enough, so If you happen to possess a SLA/DLP machine - go for it! If FFF is your weapon of choice - print big. Nozzle size 0.4 or smaller recommended.
Skulls for the skull throne!
Printer:
3DGence ONE
Rafts:
Doesn't Matter
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.15, 0.1 would be nice.
Infill:
15-20%
Notes:
3 perimeters is kind of a must for quality sake.
Lots of attention and care while removing supports. Use dense support layers.
Scultpris, Blender - the usual. Sculpt away, boolean, sculpt some more.
Problem with exporting scultps is preserving detail without making the file extremely big - i think up to 200MB is OK but later it just becomes impractical.
