I have tried to make this model of a San Francisco Cable Car as accurate and as detailed as possible, however I have had to take a few liberties to make the model 'printable' on my Makerbot Replicator.
You will need to print four copies of the Wheel Assembly, but one copy of all other parts. Note that slots and pegs are included for correct positioning of the parts. They can then be fixed permanently into position with a few drops of Super Glue. However, you may like to leave the roof assembly unglued to the Main Body so that it can be removed to inspect the inside of the car as in the picture above.
Print all parts in the orientation shown. (Note that the Top Roof needs to be printed standing on end.) All parts were printed using a Smart Extruder +, with a raft and no supports.
APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS:
Length - 17cms

Main roof - 3h. 9m.
Top roof - 1h. 31m.
Wheel assembly - 18m.
Wheel guard - 5m.
Bell - 3m.
