1911 grips. The difference between these and the others I've found, is that I put a cutout in these ones for the plunger tube. I have printed the left grip and the plunger cut-out fit perfect on my gun
I am also uploading STEP files so that you can put your own designs on these grips.
UPDATE: Uploaded the Punisher grips shown in the pictures
Printer: Monoprice Maker Select
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Notes:
Print this at whatever resolution/fill you want. The Punisher grip was printed at .25mm resolution with a 30% fill. I printed it using Hatchbox wood filament.
Since I printed it out of wood, I decided to sand it fairly smooth with a combination of sandpaper and dremel work, and then I stained it.
You can polish these smooth or leave them dirty. Some people like the look of the layer lines.
These fit pretty tight on my Springfield M1911 Range Officer. I had to shave a few thousandths of material out of the screw holes to get it to fit nicely.
Edit: restained with dark maple. Looks good imo
I didn't design these. The only thing I did was add the plunger tube relief cut.
I CNC milled some Punisher grips out of aluminum a few years ago, so I've had these on my computer for awhile.
I'm pretty sure the original author of these grips is Robert Burns over at GrabCAD. Link below:
