I wanted to create a something that would be fun to paint...something that would have lots of nooks and crannies to catch a wash when it was applied. After a bit of debating, I settled on a dwarf with a big beard. Halfway through day 2, after choosing to start over twice, I was seriously questioning my choice as I carved all those braids. LOL I did stick with it.
This is the finished piece. It printed easily with minimal supports. The pictures listed here have not been edited. This is really how it looked after taking the supports off. I hope someone else will find a use for my little dwarf statue as well. If you do print it, I would appreciate seeing the end result so please upload and share.

Resolution:

Infill:
15%
Filament: Paramount 3D PLA Skin Universal Beige
Notes:
You might be able to get away with no supports. Parts of the face and hair are above a 45 degree angle, but they are small. The right sleeve and the strap on the back push the limit too. I used 'em because I didn't want it to fail after printing for so long.
This was modeled in zBrush. I'm still very new to the application. There were lots of places that I scrapped everything and went back to the drawing board. Hopefully, I'll be able to create things faster in the future, but for this being the second piece I've made using zBrush, I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.
