My interpretation of the centerpiece building from the 1939-40 New York World's Fair, the Trylon & Perisphere. I recalled going to the 1964 World's Fair in New York and was looking into doing a model of the Unisphere (which is tell there). On researching that, I found that this once stood in the exact same location in Flushing Meadows Park a quarter of a century earlier. Too cool to ignore, I decided to make a model of it first!
I've included images of the completed model as well as an exploded view, for better understanding of how the parts fit together. The complete model probably won't print in one shot. I've also included two versions of the Trylon, in one and two parts for smaller printers. Enjoy!
