A simple print and simple construction for a simple little toy. This was a project to play with Fusion 360's T-spline environment for the first time. Pushing the button flaps the wings. And yes, I did choose pink for a prototype print - no one can prove pterodactyls weren't pink, can they?! :)
Use supports to help the bridges, but the quality of the internal parts doesn't really matter too much anyway. There's no real overhangs (actually just around the inside of the button hole on the top body piece), just some largish bridges on the body parts. Brims might help prevent warping on the broad but thin wings
Print two pins. The wings are simply mirror images of each other.
The STLs are rather big - I scaled to 30% to fit on my 160x160mm Ender 2 print bed.
At 30% the pins are quite snug in their sockets, but it's probably best to use a bit of super-glue anyway.
I intend to update this model at some point, with better detail on the wings and perhaps a better body shape. I'll mark the updated versions as v2 if/when I do.
