My version of the Stuttgart TV tower scaled 1:1000 (21.5 cm) - based on the numbers at wikipedia and the view from my window.
It's split in 5 parts so it can be printed without any supports and as big as possible. Scaled to 150 % the pole reaches 20.6 cm. By mere coincidence this is the height of my printer.
The parts can be screwd together easily (I strongly recommend elefant food compensation (in Slic3r)). At the bottom of the pole there is a M4 thread for any attachment you may device.
Any hints/ideas/whatever are highly appreciated. I included the fusion360-file. If you have any improvements, let me know and share!
Printer Brand:
Prusa
Printer:
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
0.1 - 0.2
Infill:
10 %
Filament: Das Filament PLA Red
Notes:
I recommend 0.2 mm for the pole an 0.1 mm for the rest.
Due to its simple design the model exposes every layer shift problem you might have (I certainly do). I had to slow down the printing whenever it reached a vertical perimeter.
