There are two kind of people on this planet: Those who love the show Breaking Bad and those who haven't watched it. The show is high drama, adventure, and just the right amount of comedy to break up the almost non-stop intensity. Plus, there's a lot of breakfast.
Everyone loves Hector Salamanca. We may not know him very well, but his face sure rings a bell. And his bell can ring a face (right off of Gus' skull).
This is my re-creation of Hector's bell. It's a prop and doesn't actually ring (that's for you to figure out), but it will look cool sitting on a desk if you 3D print it, paint it, and then scrunch up your nose and eyebrows, look very angry, and slam your hand on it over and over.
You're smart. You can figure out a way to add a real bell. I know I will.
I'm going to print it tomorrow and then add another photo after I paint it.
There are two files. One is a complete set and the other is just the plunger and plunger knob. The reason I set it up this way is that the plunger (particularly the shaft) might not come out strong enough with pla. Therefore you might want to just print the knob and use a dowel or metal rod. I actually used a nail, a spring from a ballpoint pen, and then printed a piece for inside the bell that combines it all into a spring-activated soundless bell. Add the sound in on video or get a regular bell and use the guts from it. Lots of options.
I primed it and then painted it with gold enamel modeling paint. Now it sits on my desk.
But don't try to use rocks. They're minerals, Marie, Minerals.
Also: I'm the one who 3D prints in the night. I am the danger.
Finally: I made this for you, Skylar. Don't you get that? All these 3D prints are for our family.
