After output, post-processing was minimized. (1:1 Scale Replicas)
I plan to make a scabbard as well.
After outputting the blade, you can make it look like a real knife.
I plan to upload a video of the blade making process(for looks like real) on YOUTUBE.
I modeled it at the request of my YouTube subscriber.
He is from Italy and currently lives in Republic of South Africa,
He enjoys military dressing as a hobby, but it was very difficult to find an Italian dagger.
So he decided to use a 3D printer and he emailed me to create a 3D model of an Italian dagger.
This is a World War II Italian Leader dagger and scabbard.
Measuring 340 mm with the scabbard on, this dagger features a 198 mm nickel-plated steel blade, magnetic, with a sharp edge.
The handle is fabricated from aluminum, designed with a quillon, complemented by black synthetic plates embedded on either side and held in place by a single brass screw.
The obverse of the handle has a bronze fasces insignia, while the pommel is fashioned in the form of an eagle's head.
Accompanied by its black painted metal scabbard, magnetic, brass open-ended chape, the throat plate held in place by two brass screws on the topside, dual dagger hanger bands are embedded into the scabbard's body with rings attached, the scabbard measuring 230 mm in length.
Detailed modeling know-how are well documented on my YouTube.
