Bloody paws: Halloween party

This little guy is an original halloween figure i would like to share with all the 3D printing enthusiastic people like me :D

Sculpted in Zbrush and optimized for FDM 3D printing in Meshmixer. This model has been designed to print at 100mm and has 8 different pieces, all the pieces has a flat surface and are propperly oriented to make an easier print. The horns has been shortened in order to print easier. The files are ready to print and you'll need very few supports. If you ask the renders are made in keyshot and 3Dstudiomax, and painted in Substance painter aswell.

Please let me know if you have any doubt about printing this model and of course share your print :P (También hablo en español por si acaso alguien necesita que le echen una mano). I've been working sculpting miniatures as freelance since a whole ago and this is the first time i'm uploading a file here so i would love to read your feedback.

Happy printing and hallowen!

Notes:

I strongly recommend printing both horns and hands at the same time, taking aproach of the nozzle moving between prints brings some time to the plastic to get solid for the next layers. Using brims and tune down the printing speed for the smaller pieces will make your prints more reliable aswell.

Supports are recquired for:

  • Horns

  • Arms

  • Head:  Very few supports, use in the chin and in the lower eyes from the mask

Don't forget to turn down supports while you are printing the hands, this piece has a fitting hole for the arms.

Printed in Simplify 3D, let me know if you have any question about the printing proccess. Be sure to check the "Adjust printing speed layers" feature if you are using simplify.

Post-Printing

Assembly is required once is printed, you'll only need superglue for this task.

In order to get a better surface just give it a pair of coats of filler primer, wait for a few hours sand a little and paint!

Wait.. you still here? Go print! :D
