When jagster1991 told me he was making Alpha from FFXIV, I knew I wanted to make one too.  I decided to go for that cute little wave he does in the game so they wouldn't be exactly the same.  It took me a bit longer, but here it is.

This was made using zBrush.  The center of gravity is not quite right.  It will stand, but he leans a bit.  I recommend printing some type of base and gluing his left foot down to maintain the proper pose.  There are lots of bases on Thingiverse already so I didn't feel the need to create one just for this model.  You could also do as I did and apply some double-sided poster tape to the bottom of his foot.  He stands up.  Your furniture isn't ruined.  Win-win.
