This is a 1:76 model of a very interesting post-war gun. It was developed from a shell model shared in the SketchUp library by various authors, such as Nikos D., to whom my thanks. Model developed using SketchUp and 3D Builder, but ultimately significantly changed to strengthen the print and make it useable and more robust.
An early attempt to print 'as is' in one go was not very successful, as the amount of supports was excessive. A second attempt splitting the model into individual components worked, but was a real fiddle to glue together (I still do not have a good glue...). The published version is a compromise, with strengthened supports for the wheels, trails etc., and seems to be an acceptable compromise. The result of several trials, and much patience!
Dimensions are not ideal, as the available information is not easy to interpret, but I think that they are about right. Again, checked using MiniMagics v3.0.
I hope it is of some interest; it makes for an attractive model, it rather fiddly to remove supports. Some hydraulic cylinders are fragile, and can be easily damaged, but replacement with reprinted components is relatively straightforward.
Enjoy!
