This is a replica of the Zaku 2 Machine Gun from the RG 1/144 Zaku 2 model kit.I modeled it in Fusion 360 to print a human sized version. Suitable for shelf display or light handling only, it is not the sturdiest of designs.

I printed all the parts on a Prusa Mk3, so if your bed is smaller than that you may have problems with a few of the parts. You will also need to reposition some of the parts, use your best judgement for how to print the parts. I printed a test model in PLA, but I think I'm going to print a second one in something stronger like PETG. Takes a little over a KG of filament to print, so be prepared for that. Took me about a week to print everything, but you could print it faster.

The joint between the barrel and the sight is designed to be tight, and you might need to sand yours a little bit to fit. I made it this way so the sight would stay where you left it. The holes between the barrel and the sight were for some 6.4mm x 1.6mm magnets, but they didn't really work on my test print. I left them because they didn't really hurt anything.

Print one of every part except for:

Print 2 copies of the Grip Cap
Print 14 copies of the Alignment Pin

Use whatever your favorite glue for your plastic to assemble, I used CA (super glue) for my PLA print. Do not glue the Sight Arm to the Main Barel Parts, or the Grip Rotator to the Grip Pin, those parts should be able to rotate when you are done.

I just finished printing it, and barely started painting it, which is my my pictures look weird. I kinda ran out of base coat. I have worked the CAD file about as much as I want to for right now, so I decided to post it. I do need to make a holder for it so I can stand it up on my shelf. One day I'll get around to posting that.
