I want more of the furnishings from Fallout such as generators and water purifiers for the tabletop so I've been digging through the game NIFs and expanding on my Meshmixer skills on what can be converted into solids and thickened up and what has to be rebuilt entirely. Just as I was about to upload I looked at some screen grabs from the game to double check the model and found there should be heaps of extra wires, joins, holes, and heaps of rivets which aren't part of the mesh. So back to Meshmixer and after a bunch more hours I have a quite nicely detailed model I think. I'm not sure on the exact size of these in game but they look to be about one story tall next to buildings so I've scaled it to that size.
