We love cats and wanted one that was realistic and smooth but had difficulty finding one online so we made this one. We added an ornament ring so it could be hung on a tree or on a wall. Prints nicely at all resolutions. No supports or raft required. The standard model without the ornament hook is also added to the files.
The print is designed as a medium size 70 x 50 x 50 mm which takes about 1 hour at .2 resolution. We actually prefer to increase the size by 20-30% and increase the print quality but then it goes to about a 2-1/2 hour print. You can reduce the size by 25% to print it as a kitten to go with Mom. Rev A- 12/8/18 17:30 PST: We added a hollow version that is slightly taller and narrower (70 x 45 x 55 mm tall) (and uses even less filament) so that it can fit over a LED light bulb from your Christmas tree or tea light or other candle/finger LED available on Amazon or eBay. We recommend using 5% infill and clear or other translucent filament to let the light shine through. Merry Printing and have a Happy New Year!
