Furcacauda is an extinct genus of jawless vertebrates from around the early Devonian. I split the model into two parts so it prints without any support. The size is not too far off from real life, but the actual coloration is of course unknown.

I stuck the two halves together with hot glue after printing and filled the gaps with acrylic putty before coating with epoxy and sanding. Painting after base coat was orange red inside gills and mouth, dark blue coat on body followed by opaque white with a mesh stencil. The belly got a solid white cover, top was dusted with thinned dark blue followed by phthalo green. Eyespot and eyes were done in black. Final clear coat was glossy acrylic.
