Any sort of bulb should do, pick one that gives the desired color effect you are looking for.
There is an opening in the back to feed the cable through, there are holes for zipties to hold the cable in place.
The lampshade sits loosely on top.

Supports for the base only. (Just for the overhang where the bulb holder screws in). Set support to only support really flat parts so it does not make the underside of the bottom rocks look bad.
I designed this in solidworks. The base was designed around supporting the lampshade and fitting the bulb holder. Then rocks were added to give the base a unique texture.
