The other day I created the Little Jet Plane which I really liked. Whilst printing it though I was reminded of all the posters and booklets I had when I was little, and there was a plane that came to mind, that would be suitable for printing... the F-86 Sabre. It has it's wings at the bottom of the fussilage, which makes them easier to print without support. The tail isn't flat on the ground originally though... so I went ahead and made my own version. The Skewer!
This jet has both it's wings and tailwings flat on the printer bed to make for extra easy printing.
The original .blend Blender file is included so you can make a derivative if you want.
Share a photo of your Skewer in action!!
Print it on a raft for easier detaching from the print surface!
