I guy posted this meme of a clay figure holding his head in his hands looking at a book instead of his head. The guy asked how to model this. I found a 3D model of a man (https://free3d.com/3d-model/human-base-riged-85678.html) for Blender with complete bones to be able to pose him and used the open book model found here on Thingiverse.
I have not yet printed this myself, so there might be some issues, that is why I posted this as a work in progress.
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.2
Infill:
20%
Notes:
I have not yet printed this, but the nose and lower tips of the book need a bit of support, the rest of the model are in angles that can be printed without support.
I would lower the model 1-2 mm into the bed to make the bottom of his hutt and feet flat. Both for the model to stick to the bed while printing, and for the model to sit nice and clean on a flat surface. If you have a clay red/brown color it would look cool I think.
If you print this and find some issues (perhaps his fingers needs to curl up and touch his head to make it print better). Please post comments and I will adjust the model.
