My version of the Broken Spear of Leonidas from Assassin's Creed Odyssey. This was the first thing I have modeled from scratch and while it isn't 100% game accurate I am pretty proud of it. The model is made to fit 5mm dowels in the head of the spear and a 3/4 inch dowel in the handle. The handle is thinner in one part to accommodate a leather wrapping. There are three different ends to the handle as I was not happy and kept making changes. Enjoy!
Sanded with 120 grit to get rid of print lines then 220 grit to increase the smoothness. Gaps were filled with a mix of CA glue and baby powder then sanded down. Sprayed three coats of filler primer onto the model with 220 grit sanding in between. A final coat of primer went on then was sanded with 400 grit. I have not painted it yet but plan to use a black gloss coat then silver and gold paint.
