3D Designed and 3D Printed a low poly hat for all us 3D printing nerds out there! I'm a hat freak and being able to 3D print a hat is crazy cool. This model will prepare into makerbot desktop around: 193mm (ear to ear) x 248mm (foreHead to back) x 122mm (tall)
My head is pretty large so should work on most medium sized printers if you print the hat in two parts.

I printed this hat on a MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen in two parts. The "CAP" & "BRIM"
CAP:
.2 mm Layers
NO Supports
Rafts "ON"
2 shells
UPDATE: Added a file "myVYBES_CAP_wSUPPORTS_fixed" that has supports built in. Print the same as above then remove the build in supports when done.
BRIM:
.2mm Layers
NO Supports
Rafts "ON"
2 shells
Once printed I glued the CAP & BRIM together using Loctite (plastic bonder - 2 part mix).
Let it set for a few minutes and it was solid.
