Hi there!

The blue "Ant" has been roaming my desk for too long. Time for the red commander to roll out a tier2 tank and wreak some havoc.

This is the printable Version of the advanced tank from Planetary Annihilation called "Leveler". When these guys enter the battlefield, things tend to get nasty.

I printed it at 300% scale.

As always this model comes in true Steiner3D fashion - all parts can be printed without supports and simply slide into each other, no glue needed. When you print it much smaller than 300%, the gap I calculated to keep the assembly easy will get smaller too, of course. Therefor the tank can be dis- and reassembled at any time.

The Turret is connected with the Body by a printed screw, which is accessible from the bottom. It is meant to be screwed all the way in, as the Screw is ~0.5mm longer. Therefor the Screw will stay in place while the Turret can be turned with low friction.

The cannon can be turned up and down, this time with a more improved mounting system than I used on my "Ant" design. I am really happy about it.

Supports are not needed at all, as all seperate parts have flat surfaces, print them as you like. All parts are oriented correctly, apart from the mirrored parts which have "right" in their names. My software mirrors parts around all three axis, unfortunately. I added additional versions with first layer surfaces to the barrel and the gun-mounting block, labeled as "sticky". Then you dont need an entire brim if printing without these doesnt work well.

It comes with the original tracks, but you can choose to print the "upgraded" tracks.

The color scheme does not quite match the original, but I did my best at splitting the colors into seperate parts.

I completely reconstructed the 3D-model based off TheHivesMind's upload (thing:2437148) who extracted the raw model from the official game. Thanks, by the way! From that model I took measurements of all edges and rebuilt the tank, as my parametric software cannot alter STL files. This is why the model itself is so tiny, I left the dimensions pretty close to the original file.

I hope to see some makes, have fun and happy printing!
