Free Base from Collar
Use a flat blade screwdriver to free the base from the rotating collar. Gently work around the full perimeter to lift the collar from the base. After freeing the collar, free the threads by twisting back and forth on the collar while holding the base. After working working through a few complete cycles open and closed the box with loosen up and rotate freely.
