I got into this because I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to do something that could really have an impact on, not just my world, but all worlds. And it wasn't until I was assigned to this heavy floaty thing that I really found my calling. Hovering above and never having to touch the ground inspired me deeply. Imagine, if you will, a floor polished so well that the reflection of the night sky merged seamlessly into it. In what better way could I serve my eternal god king than a floor that is shinier than our beautiful golden armor?
Now I have been written up on a number of occasions for flagrantly disregarding battle. Luckily, I've kept the right people happy with my armor polishing activities, after hours. Sure some of the guys get pretty pissed because they depend on my support during engagements, but I can't help but feel that everything is all good once they make it home and are able to truly 'reflect' on my value.
Honestly when i got signed up, as a pacifist, I don't think they took me seriously. I guess they assumed I was just joking. And by the time they realized the truth, the investment and my success was too great to waste. So now I hang out in the rear, and send my support in the form of flowers and love. And really, what more does someone need?
