F-86D Saberdog was a development of the famous F-86 Saber. It was the first USAF night fighter with only a single pilot. It use 2.75" unguided rockets in a retractable tray instead of guns although export versions had 4 x 20mm cannon and no rockets. It set a speed record of 1152kph in 1953.
