The T-45 Goshawk is a highly modified version of the BAe Hawk. Manufactured by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) and British Aerospace (now BAE Systems), the T-45 is used by the United States Navy as their primary jet trainer. It is flown by student NFOs in the advanced strike pipeline at Training Wing 6 in Pensacola, FL.
This model was interesting in that I had detailed blueprints (off of Google as usual) of the original BAe Hawk, yet none of the T-45 plans or schematics. In order to account for all of the design changes by Boeing and BAe to make it carrier worthy, I had to constantly jump back and forth between the very high-quality photos of the Goshawk and the plans for the BAe Hawk. I look forward to flying this bird in the future and I hope you enjoy it in your home.
