The Small Astronomy Satellite 3 (SAS-3) was launched May 7, 1975 in order to observe X-rays emitted by matter falling into black holes and onto neutron stars. My thesis advisor found the brochure in the photo in his attic a couple decades ago. This model is based on the line drawings in the document. More information on the mission is on https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/sas3/sas3_about.html.
