You won't get very far in your adventures around Gielinor without any money!
The fundamental currency in RuneScape, gold pieces (GP) are an integral part of the game. They're not usually shown in detail, so I decided to bring them to life as best I can.
The back side is modelled after the large coins visible during the Grim Tales quest, and the front is modelled after the old/ancient coins from the Dig Site that are added to the Varrock Museum.
Each coin has the location of the major city from a kingdom, the god(s) worshipped there, and a year that's relevant to the location. As Miscellania is run by the player, I figured it was necessary to have them worship the most powerful god in existence.

I did some minor sanding followed by spraying a white base primer. From there I painted 2-3 layers of Citadel Retributor Armour, and outlined the text & symbols with Agrax Earthshade. Once that was dry, I sprayed a clear gloss coat.
