After Printing
Some holes may have to be drilled out larger. The holes on the top of the A frames may need enlarging to allow smooth rotary motion of the fulcrum. Small elastic bands should be fitted around the trigger mechanism and main C spring (see photos).
Custom buckets can be designed and fitted providing they use a 4mm hole to secure the screw
Introduction
A prototype of a larger model which will be used for a university project where students have to create a catapult that can fire 1-5 meters and is adjustable. Still a work in progress, this is roughly 1/2 size of the real model which has to be made from MDF with 30 or less fasteners. This was made purely to analyse the motion of components in conjunction to one another.
