Thing is my first "thing" and first 3D sculpture. This is my cat, Spike. Well, it's the digital cartoon sculpted version of him. He's a polydactyl manx. He literally has way too many toes, no tail and quite an interesting personality.

I may add a few more of him in different activities.

Notes:

My mini has been upgraded with a E3D Titian Aerostruder with a .4 nozzle.

It is roughly 4" long by 2.5" wide and took 2 hours at a medium print setting.

Post-Printing

After I printed it, I gently sanded any areas that need attention.
Then I lightly sprayed a layer of sandable automotive primer and let it dry. Once dry, I sanded again and once again sprayed a light coat of primer and let it dry.
Then I airbrushed the base layer of black before detailing with a brush.

He's now as smooth as I wanted for this project.

All done! That's his personality alright.
